In England their are millons of children who are living in poverty .
Because their parents are too poor to take care of them .
Some famlies have less than 500nt$ per person per day to pay for everthing they need .
A group of people called The Campaign to End Child Poverty is working to try and help the children whose familes don't have enough money.
The British Prime Minster, Gordon Brown , said that he wants to get rid of child poverty in this country by the year 2020.

The winner of this year's U.S open tennis tournament was Roger Federer .
This is the fifth time that he has won the U.S open .
He beat Andy Murray in three sets.
Before this tournament Federer had not had a good year and hadn't won any other major tournament .
He looks very happy in this picture .

I listened to some of the story about how President Bush wants to ask the U.S government for U.S 700billion to give to the big financial companies.This money will help the money problem in America so that normal people will not lose their homes.I think it is very confusing but it also sound serious.I hope the people in America will be Okay !

About Jamaica national team's coach
Jamaica has a new national soccer coach,he is a former England player named John Barnes,Barnes who is 44 years old will be coaching the Reggae Boyz ,will be starting to coach Reggae Boyz on Nov.1 . The previous coach was sacked because the Jamaica national team has not play good soccer recently.
